Chicago Landlord Tenant Laws for Notice of Landlord Entry to show apartment

This short animation provides a brief summary of rights for Chicago tenants under the Chicago Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance (RLTO) Section 5-12-050 and Section 5-12-060 which describe the rights of renters to advance notice before a landlord enters their unit, to show to new renters, or for other reasons. Also the landlord under the RLTO is not allowed to show the unit to prospective renters before the final 60 days of the tenant's lease term.
