Housing Policy and Advocacy

General Information

Through original research and engaged advocacy, LCBH’s Housing Policy and Advocacy Project works towards systemic changes that create real improvements in the quality of life for Chicago low-income families. LCBH’s frontline services for low-income families provide the agency with a unique insight into the issues impacting poor and disenfranchised tenants and communities in Chicago.

Our policy work sheds light on the fundamental reasons why too many Chicago households do not have safe, decent and affordable housing, while our advocacy efforts utilize this information to press for real change.
